There was no war. Landlords were just hiring people to set their building on fire. For the insurance. People just started living in gutted buildings.

The building I lived in when I was a student from 1987 - 1998 could have easily been torched and no one would have given a damn. Our landlord then was a real s**t. :buggedout:
