Title: Death Bed: The Bed That Eats

With that title you'd expect quality, right? Nope, low-road to nowhere. Aubrey would be chagrined.

I liked it. I remember the director said he was influenced by Jean rollin and that definitely came through. for better or worse

I kind of like it too. It's not really a "bad movie" per se, although it is a cheap one, and it might not work for most people. It's actually more art-house than exploitation. It's a strange black comedy that's totally unique.

I love this movie.  I kind of take offense to it being called art-house, but I can't disagree.  Skeleton hands!  I need to watch it again. Isn't there a scene where they bring in a bucket of chicken and the bed eats it too?  Or did I make the movie better in my mind?

I keep thinking I need to make a list of all the haunted/deadly furniture and houseware movies.  I know there's this one, then the sofa one (that's actually a chair - do people call chairs sofas too?), microwave massacre, the refrigerator,  I know there's more.  Then all the haunted and deadly food.

Have you ever seen Rubber? Not quite a household object, but I think it fits.

Yes I've seen Rubber - at least part of it.  I either fell asleep or turned it off.  I remember being kind of annoyed with it.  But it fits!

Kristi's cousin wants me to send her a must see list of horror films. I am sorely tempted to add this to the list.
