A month or so ago I downloaded the CLZ Movies app and it's pretty amazing. I spent a couple weeks scanning my DVDs and blu-rays into the app and now I finally have a complete list. The app pulls info from IMDB and lets you edit and customize the data for each movie.
Final tally: I currently have 4,329 titles (includes movies, TV shows . . . anything I have on DVD or blu-ray).
Breakdown:
DVD - 3,851
Blu-ray - 417
3-D Blu-Ray - 58
4K - UHD - 3
Some statistics (these may be slightly off because I need to manually add some dates and adjust some genres - for example, most of my martial arts movies are in the "action" category and not "martial arts" - this is the way the app scanned them in, so I need to do some realignment):
Top 10 years based on release date (obviously, I love the '70s):
1973
1974
1972
1977
1971
1976

1975
1978
1980
Top 10 genres:

What a sweet deal man!
I hear Kanopy is also a really cool streaming service if you're looking for documentaries and artsy stuff.
On my Samsung smart TV I currently have Shudder, Netflix, Prime video, Tubi, and Freevee.
And I still check out movies from the library!!
