I think the media conspired to tank this movie because it pointed at the media and said ''This is you! ''.

Does anyone else think so?

"Sabotage" it in what way?

The movie got a heck of a lot of press when it first hit Netflix, it currently ranks as Netflix's 2nd most streamed movie in their library, and it was nominated for a bunch of Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and other prizes.

If there was any attempt to "sabotage" it, I'd say it failed spectacularly.

Exactly, a lot of MSM reviews dumped on DLU, especially any controlled by Emperor Rupert.
