There are numerous reports that screen legend Jack Nicholson is suffering extreme dementia and may be in his last days.
Having seen some relatives succumb to senility and dementia I hope these are just rumors but do know he hasn't been in the public eye for quite a while. If he's going thru what my grandmother did I hope he is soon released from it.
As for his career, I guess I'll always remember him for his maniacally marvelous portrayal of the Joker.
So whatever happens, Jack, I hope you go with a smile.
Well said. Like you, I hope it's not true.
But if it is - death is a mercy.
A new study finds 1 out of 10 people over 65 have dementia, so it would not be a surprise.
My mom has it and she doesn't suffer from it at all. She makes those around her suffer a bit though!
No one seems to be denying the reports of Nicholson's condition. That's nearly an admission.
I know he's most famous for Chinatown, OFOTCN and maybe the shining, but I still remember him best as the Joker.
But whatever movie you remember him for he will be remembered.
I remember that you used to hear about Jack all the time, even when he wasn't actually doing anything, but it's been quite a while since I've heard any reports on the guy.
It's a shame, he was a legend, but I guess it's kind of expected. He is 80 something after all.
Jack Nicholson had a wildly successful life doing a career he enjoyed. Remember that.
