The Brooklyn Mall near me has two cinemas / theaters, one for the cinema snobs :wink: and the other for common plebs like me: the Cinema Nouveau closed yesterday I was told :bluesad:
I saw a lot of films there that I otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to over the years and I also saw a film I worked on there.
This wonderful compendium has a list of all the current and past cinemas/theaters/drive-ins-- and if there's any you can tell they missed, you can sign up and submit them and they'll post them.

I remember when I came to SA in 1987, the suburb of Sunnyside had seven (!!) theaters in one street! Now all gone sadly :bluesad:
The last one I could easily reach closed a while back.
