Is it mean to say I have often wondered how she became a star?

That's a bummer. Not only was she purty, but she always seemed to have a healthy sense of humor about her image.

Very sad. She was fantastic in FANTASTIC VOYAGE (1966) and ONE MILLION YEARS BC (1966)

More than 50 years ago, Mary Richards on the Mary Tyler Moore Show was tasked with writing emergency obits in case any famous personages died.  Getting punchy, Mary Richards got to RAQUEL WELCH's obituary and typed "Didn't drown..."

Good night RAQUEL
