Aside from the movie I like the soundtrack because it is almost exactly like the Fallout games.
I think Anderson's film are all about the journey, not the destination.
I just reviewed it and talked about it on my podcast. On further reflection, I think it's my favorite Anderson movie. Although his films are always sophisticated and witty, this is the first one that actually makes me think.
To me I think it's second to Moonrise Kingdom. I enjoyed both of them.
There was a great subtle line in there that I thought was a perfect metaphor for the outlook of the period.
When a woman had what appeared to be a black eye, a man asked her, "What'd you do to deserve that?"
