Well at least they aren't doing a sequel to the remake I guess.

4 and 6 are the only ones I like :teddyr:
There have been 9 Freddy movies.
Give it a rest! It's been beaten into the ground.
At this point, I wanna see a parody as an homage to Bergman...
Robert Englund is okay with them recasting, so I'm at least willing to give it a shot.
To be fair, the guy playing the new Freddy has the voice down. And Englund is up there in years. Granted with today's technology, make up and CGI, I wouldn't mind one more film with him in the role.
The remake in 2010 wasn't great, but I feel Jackie Earle Haley was fairly decent as Freddy. They just used too much CGI and not enough make up. Script wasn't great on that one. He did well with what he was given.

Englund did have one god idea that it's a shame we never saw.
Everyone has a different Freddy in their dreams, he's always burnt faced and he always wears a hat, but each person sees him differently until the very end of the movie, where the face off the true essence of Freddy, which would be Englund.

That's pretty good honestly
frankly, i don't see( or own) the last 2 listed as a part of the franchise i love, and i probably never will. and i mean literally, since i've never seen either, and don't feel the need to do so. i'll wait on reviews from y'all on this one too.
