There aren't many movies I don't like. If I don't like a movie I usually don't care for the soundtrack either.
With me it is the other way around. Seen plenty of good movies that had in my opinion one or more lousy songs.
I recently shared a couple songs from Bad Man's River, which really stank...
Usually, the music's what makes me like a film, like Dudes or the Fist Full Of Dollars/Man with no name trilogy....
Hard to think of any examples.
I love Elliot Smith's "Between the Bars," which appears in a movie I hate ("Good Will Hunting"), but it's not from the movie--van Sant just inserted it in there, out of context.
Nuclear Assault - Something Wicked This Way Comes from Warlock: Armageddon.

LOST IN TRANSLATION is kind of a nothing film for me. can see why some like it but left me cold
however love this song from the soundtrack

If it weren't for the music, I probably would've turned off the TV after five minutes.....

The song was originally on the Batman & Robin soundtrack and later was reused in Zack Snyder's Watchmen trailer.
"Man In Motion" from ST. ELMO'S FIRE.
When I worked in the movie theater biz we'd often get these promotional OST CDs for terrible movies and, at the second (more micromanaged) multiplex, the owner would expect to hear ONLY these promotional CDs on rotation whenever he'd pass through the lobby.
You'd be surprised how much the songs from these Godawful rom-coms will grow on you when heard ad infinitum out of context.......
Most of the songs and music from The Sound of Music.
Yeah alright, as long as actual musicals are fair game... well heck, tons of 'em.
I admit that I find many individual songs from OKLAHOMA! and GREASE to be appealing or catchy... both have plots and characters that make me freakin' ill, however.
Body Rock is an insanely bad attempt to cash in on the breakdancing craze. It features Lorenzo Lamas and absolutely no rap music, but the title song is at the least a guilty pleasure.
