QuoteIn a report from the Wall Street Journal, via fellow Hearst publication Delish, McDonald's, regarding the Big Mac, will add more sauce, better-melting cheese, and "randomly scattered" sesame seeds. There is expected to be a transition to brioche buns and juicier burgers.

    more sauce on Big Macs
    meltier cheese
    fresher lettuce and pickles
six patties will be grilled at a time
brioche buns will be sliced with a thicker bottom
onions will be rehydrated after purchase
sesame seeds will be further spaced out

In their press release last spring, McDonald's indicated that the forthcoming changes in the U.S. were already made in Australia, Canada and Belgium to "rave reviews."

I find the trouble with McDonalds is that the burger is always a lot smaller than you expect.

Not only that, one burger patty is 1.6-ounce (45 g), which isn't a lot of meat.

My usual McDonald's order 2go includes:

1 Big Mac
1 Double Cheeseburger
1 McRib
20 Chicken McNuggets /w mustard & BBQ dipping sauce

No drinks. Got drinks at home. No fries. Not a fan of McD's fries.

I usually order a Big Mac meal with extra saucer and an extra beef patty.  I refer to it as the Bigger Mac.

I used to work in a factory which ground down these orange rocks into powder. whatever this powder was (I never actually found out), it went into big mac buns AND rizlas... those 2 things have a common ingredient apparently, lol

Well that makes me 0% more likely to eat there.   (Though it's my sons favorite restaurant....sigh.)

This is probably some kind of "gum", like guar gum or gum arabic.  I've been doing keto baking for a couple years now so have gotten familiar with the "gums".  It's amazing the amount of alchemy-like ingredients are needed to replace flour.

That said, I don't get the hate for McDs.  I miss the days when they had breakfast all day.
