Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is coming out next month. 5th film overall in the series, but 4th in the 'main continuity' since we've ignored the all female reboot.

Old cast and new cast are teaming up, and we see the return of Peck, the EPA agent from the first film, played by William Atherton. We even see the receptionist, Janine, suit up with the rest. I'm excited.

That tracks based on the trailer. I couldn't figure out his role.
I am looking forward to this one.
This is definitely one that I'm hitting the theaters for.
It looks like a chance to continue the franchise and slowly phase out the older characters or just limit them to advisors who help with knowledge or technology but not bust so much due to age.
"According to these hacks, they saved the world; No eyewitness"
That is one thing I really don't like about this franchise. They keep having it so nobody believes the Ghostbusters are real despite they fact they've had some very public appearances and ghostly encounters. It's like how they joked about the Jurassic Park franchise, about how they had to getting people back to the island.
New villain looks like it could be a good threat, though.

It's not like there was a 100 foot tall marshmallow man walking the streets of NY or the Titanic coming back in like Part 2. Pretty big incidents.

Face it. We currently live in a world where you can watch something literally happen on video footage that is verified, and certain folks will swear it never happened, either for political reasons or sheer mental derangement. So, yeah, I can buy folks swearing the Ghostbusters were frauds even with massive evidence to prove they did save NYC.

Good point.
