Man, I don't even know where to begin with this.
1. The Muppet Babies - re: Saturday morning cartoons I was really into Photon, The Gummi Bears, Dungeons and Dragons, etc but this one came on afterwards and was slightly entertaining so me and my friend Greg who used to stay over weekends did watch it.
2. Growing Pains - sitcoms went from respectable to embarrassing quickly. I watched Family Ties and Diff'rent Strokes (sp?) and this had the same kind of feel but what was I watching? low grade humor the best bits being stuff involving a guy named "Boner".
3, Tribes - this was a crappy 90210 imitation that no one but me remembers.
4. Heathcliff - I have seen many many episodes of this probably made in Japan after school g rated cartoon.
Dallas, Dynasty, Coronation Street, Eastenders, Crossroads, Emmerdale Farm, Brookside, Neighbours, Home & Away, The Sullivans, Little House on the Prairie, The Block, Big Brother, Jeremy Kyle Show, Jerry Springer Show... to name a few.
I've never had to watch a full episode of anything with the Kardashians otherwise they'd be up there too.
Gilligan's Island
I Dream of Jeanie
Bewitched
Petticoat Junction
Space: 1999-everyone talked in whispers.

Neighbours,
I stopped watching it in about 93 but until then was a hardcore fan tbh...in the holidays I'd watch the afternoon showing and the evening repeat. I guess it was probably crap but there was something about it that was so watchable
never got into HOME & AWAY, always seemed like a boring, too-cool-for-school version of NEIGHBOURS

I've never seen a soap opera I didn't hate. Most of the people my age were obsessed with Neighbours, Hollyoaks or whatever.
Hard to think of any, I tend not to watch shows if they're bad.
I guess "Gilligan's Island." It was OK when I was a kid but wow is it lame today.
"Family Guy" might count, I saw a few of those and was always deeply disappointed.
There was an anime series called "Wonder Egg Priority" that started out promising but then fell completely apart due to not being able to meet production schedules. I watched it to the end for review purposes.
GAME OF THRONES. After seeing an entire episode dedicated to show a man's torture in extreme detail, and then an attempt to rape him, I asked myself "why the hell I'm still watching this crap?".

couple of friends who watch(ed) it religiously. I never laughed once. ditto SOUTH PARK
in fact apart from THE SIMPSONS in its classic era I've never found another cartoon aimed at (or at least conscious of) an adult audience that I find remotely funny

most of them are extremely naff, remember ELDORADO? I think even soap opera fans hated that one.
QuoteI Dream of Jeanie
campy, but respectable
QuoteJerry Springer Show.
daytime tv is total cesspool. I'd argue that stuff like The View is worse than Springer, who at least acknowledged what he was

I remember Eldorado although I never watched it. I do recall all the fuss because the BBC sent so much money on it.
think I saw maybe 1 or 2 episodes? no real recollection except it being complete arse
also confess to watching HOLLYOAKS at one stage, although I seem to recall being hungover whenever it was on so it wad probably saturday morning repeats. there were at least some nice girls in that though :)
I should have said "absolutely s**tty shows"
In 1990, I watched the premiere of Steven Bochco's legendary bomb "Cop Rock" (the musical cop show!) because there had been so much hype surrounding it, and the premise was just too bizarre to ignore.
...needless to say, it was terrible. As far as I was concerned, that one episode was too many!
If memory serves Cop Rock got canned after only a month or two on the air.

I loved Cop Rock! Disappointed it was canceled.
Maury, Jerry Springer- all that junk. For some reason I like Steve Wilko.
All soap operas stink. I did catch DARK SHADOWS once in after while after school as a kid.
I never like BALLESTAR GALLACTICA, or any of the STAR TREK sequels. The Original series is still fantastic- I most have seen them all on reruns.

I never like BALLESTAR GALLACTICA,
me neither. bought the box set and struggled thru 4 or 5 episodes. found it a bit self-important and pompous
however GALACTICA 1980 is awesome. one of the cheesiest and goofiest tv shows I've seen. pure entertainment. shame there were only 10 episodes
I watched a 90210 spin off called The Heights. It was a band. They had a hit song called "How Do You Talk To An Angel?" One of them was dating Donna (Tori Spelling). I never liked Melrose Place though.
In the mid-'10s I watched The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Gossip Girl, The Carrie Diaries, and Pretty Little Liars start to finish on Netflix, and while each had a modicum of charm at times, I can't imagine today why I took time from my life to do that*, but I saw far too many of each.
* I suspect someone had a voodoo doll of me?
Trigun: Stampede. As well as being handled by a production staff with no understanding of humor, pacing, or remotely appealling characters. it's rendered in some ugly 3-D computer animation. The only reason I can think of for the inexplicable praise the animation got is that it looks good in comparison to other 3-D computer animated anime, which is a bar so low, a sheet of paper couldn't limbo under it.
The Night Stalker was a 2005 remake of Kolchak the Night Stalker and was pretty much inferior in every way. I'll grant that Darren McGavin is a tough act to follow. But Stuart Townshend just exuded anti-charisma in his performance.
I had a friend at uni who was obsessed wirh SUNSET BEACH... I ended up seeing it quite a lot via her.
My main recollection is that every single scene in this thing seemed to be an emotionally charged 3-way standoff between a trio of random characters who I never saw before, and then never saw again
Family Guy
Jerry Springer
Charmed - I had a few friends at college who watched this simply because the 3 lead actresses are pretty
There is an anime called Seikon no Qwasar that I watched...and it's not my type of anime. I'm not much of a slice of life anime, and this one made my skin crawl.
.Freinds- UGH.
. MASH- I liked the early episodes-but later on it got to touchy feely.
.Dukes of Hazzard- My Dad always watched this comic book redneck s**t. How many jumps can that f**king car do without getting a scratch? I wanted them to stall on a railroad track.
.the A-Team- Stupid. Millions of bullets shot- not one person is ever hit. I pity the fool who watches that s**t.

Oops! Sorry, Mr. T!
Friends and family who grew up in South Africa always complained that many USA 80s TV series were dubbed into Afrikaans, sometimes badly 😳

rewatched some of the first season not long ago... Howling Mad Murdok is an interesting character. kind of schitzo but it's well acted. some of his random crazy monologues sound positively Shakesperian compared to today's dross. Got a bit samey after 4 or 5 episodes but I was pleasantly surprised with it
Perfect Strangers - Bronson Pinchot and some guy in this family friendly comedy I was so bored I watched every week
Married With Children
I always found it incredibly depressing, And would quit watching after a while....
Then I'd see a promo featuring Christina Applegate's slinky outfit dujour, or the sexy guest star dujour for people bored with Christina Applegate, & I'd start watching again...
And then I'd find it depressing again...
^ :buggedout: couldn't disagree more. GREAT show
I agree with Lil Cerb. Hated that show.

^ I seen the CLEVELAND SHOW. It was ok, if you like Family Guy kinda antics.
Now-BAYWATCH- YIKES! Never seen it. Never will. The commercials are enuff for me.
The Brady Bunch. I mean, I've seen worse, but I've seen better. It's ok for what it was.
Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills. A cheap, cheap knockoff of Power Rangers that was so bad it made Rangers almost Shakespearean. USA Network on like Sunday morning back in 1994 or 1995
