I'm looking for a movie with a road (highway) leitmotiff. the woman was driving in a Renault Megane (first generation), and the man was chasing her in a BMW5 (E34 or E39) - it could be German movie from 1990s.
I remember a scene in which the woman picks up a hitchhiker, after hearing the story that someone was chasing her he wanted to help her, so they stopped on the side of the road and a BMW was parked behind them, when the hitchhiker approached him, the man showed him something in a box (an eye, I think). The hitchhiker got scared and ran away somewhere, the whole situation was seen by a woman who continued to try to escape on her own.
