Joanna Lumley has a house in Lossiemouth and stays here regularly, although I can't say I've spotted her (or maybe I have and just not recognised her).
Charlie Maxwell, a major league baseball player in the 50's and 60's, was from Lawton. He's 94 now and lives in the next town over- Paw Paw. I dated his niece in High School.

Oh! Edger Bergen (aka and Charlie McCarthy) is from Decatur- which is about 10 miies from me.
They got a diner- HARD TIMES- that has an Edgar Bergen shrine in it.

Verne Troyer (aka Mini-Me) is from Kalamazoo, about 20 miles from here. I went to rehab with him! Nice guy. Lousy ping pong player. Of course, he's dead now too.

Bea lives about 15 miles away. She shops at a supermarket where my sister works. Bea used to own a restaurant on Ibiza in the 1980s, but lives off Citizen's allowance now.
She calls my sister 'darling' and they always have a small chat. My sister got me a picture with her autograph a few years ago. I do like her in the German cult movie Macho Man (1985).

I remember the movie she made here called NO ONE CRIES FOREVER, a hit in Europe.

As for me: I grew up in Paramus, NJ, home of the hair metal band Trixter. Several of the band members attended my high school, but the only one I knew personally was guitarist, Steve Brown (the other guys were a year or two ahead of me). Steve and I graduated together in 1988. We used to chit chat about Van Halen, Def Leppard, and Stryper during home room. Nice guy.
Former "Dukes of Hazzard" star Tom Wopat (aka "Luke Duke") lives in my current home town (West Milford, NJ). I have only run into him once at the local tobacco shop (he was on line in front of me to buy smokes) but my late brother in law worked at the garage where he brought his vehicle for service, so he saw him fairly often.
That guy Ricky Kasso lived in Northport on Long Island. I lived in Mastic-Shirley. I bought weed in Northport.

Yeah, the "Say you love Satan" kid. I just saw a documentary about this numb nut called "The Acid King" on Tubi recently. I remember when that murder and all that Satanic Panic stuff that followed went down, I was about 14 at the time.

Never met her in person. She lives in a small town I don't have any business with. I would have to go out of my way to drive through that town.
I do know she used to visit one of the biggest Volksfests in Franconia, once a year in May, which is only a few miles from where she lives. No idea if she still goes there. I used to go there but haven't been in 20 years because of the insane amount of people visiting that fest.
