QuoteThe next installment of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD will hit theaters Christmas 2025. Taking place 18 months after the events at the UNEEDA Warehouse in Louisville, KY, a new Trioxin 2-4-5 leak puts a small Pennsylvania town on the brink of a zombie outbreak during Christmas, 1985.
Directed by Steve Wolsh. His resume so far:
Fog City (2023) IMDb rating: 3,3
Kill Her Goats (2023) IMDb rating: 3,0
Muck (2015) IMDb rating: 2,7
So this ROTLD reboot is pretty much a bad movie in the making.

2025 trailer ^
I'd watch it...
The Return of the Living Dead (1985) is my fav zombie movie.
I hope its good!
I think it's mine, too... that's why I'm a little worried! Ah well.
Wasn't Linnea Quigley trying to get her own sequel/spin-off going for a while. I remember hearing something about "Trash's Revenge."
Did that ever happen or what?
^ from what I read, a crowdfunding for the movie was supposed to start in January 2025 but was cancelled because they need to figure out the rights to the character "Trash" which is owned by someone.
Good Lord, this is gonna be a colossal trainwreck, isn't it?
I'm honestly surprised it took them this long to give Return of the Living Dead the remake/reboot treatment though.
