Me and avocados never been good friends. First off, I don't have an "avocado hand." 9 out of 10 times I pick avocados that aren't ripe or too ripe. They have a weird mushy texture, you have to lemon them or they turn brown, and they taste like nothing (to me at least).
They are the "tofu" of fruit in my opinion. They add nothing special to my food. I've had California Avocado Toast inspired Avocado Toasts. Had them in all sorts of bowls, threw them in my scrambled eggs. But yeah, I dunno. Maybe someone can sell me on Avocados?
Never much liked food like this.
I love avocados in guacamole, and like little cut up pieces in tacos or whatever. I wouldn't eat them plain. The flavor is mild but the creamy texture is wonderful.
I don't go out of my way for them, but if they're on a dish I won't remove them.
Yeech! Baby s**t! Green baby s**t at that.
Oh, yeah, good stuff! I also remember a dietician I went to school with saying avocados are great for brain health.
