The two movies he made in South Africa - HOSTAGE and REASON TO DIE - were better for having him in them.
RIP ☹️
wasn't overly familiar with his stuff but recently saw NIGHTMARE AT NOON (1988) which was enjoyably daft.
according to imdb he also popped up in episodes of THE A TEAM, AIRWOLF, and THE FALL GUY... so he fought the good fight, TV-wise. RIP
hrm. I only own three (two) movies on physical media with Wings in it. I honestly thought I had more:
1. Vice Squad 1982
2. Mutant 1984
3. Terror in the Aisles 1984 (Footage of Vice Squad)

has been somewhere on my to-watch list for years... didn't actually know he was in it
^^ Mutant was the final theatrical release of FVI (Film Ventures International). Owner Edward L. Montoro wasn't happy about Mutant's poor box office performance. He took the company's remaining money ($1m, that would be $3m in 2025) and was never seen again, though it is believed he went in hiding in Mexico.
I always had a soft spot for Mutant. It has its share of cheese but also a few creepy and intense moments.
Bonus trivia: original title was Night Shadows. They changed it to Mutant for its VHS release.
