Title: "Halloween" Theme Song...
Post by: No Nukes, The Satanic Pikachu on June 15, 2002, 06:57:38 PM
What's the NAME of the theme song of "Halloween"? Or did Carpenter never really think about giving the little instrumental peice a formal title?

(I'd propose the name "Shadow Dancer" if it dosen't *combination of stupidity and wishful thinking*)

I've never seen a name for the theme.  It's always been just "Halloween."  On the soundtrack, it's listed as the "Halloween Theme."  Check it out at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00000C2CJ/ref=ase_internetmoviedat/103-5331709-2625414

              It's just the "Halloween Theme".
                       Fair enough.
P.S. :Everyone notice how Rob Zombie's "House of 1000 Corpses" song sound like John Carpenter music, with lyrics in it? Yeah,me too!I thought so...

I can do you one better. If you ever listen to early Styx, the Grand Illusion album. There is a song named Castle Walls on there and the solo section sounds so close to the Halloween theme. And that came out in I believe 1976.
