The Texas actor best known for portraying Buford Pusser in WALKING TALL, Detective Mitchell in MITCHELL and Jedburgh in EDGE OF DARKNESS has passed away at the age of 89.

He was also in Scorsese's CAPE FEAR. Can't say I enjoyed this guy's screen persona, but RIP.

He was just in so many B movies, he deserves a mention
