DR. JEKYLL'S TORTURE DUNGEON (1979), a bad, stupid, and boring kung fu horror film. It was grating. I turned it off about 20 minutes in.

😆😄😅
Last night I tried to watch "Invisible Witness" an Italian thriller with good reviews. There was a scene where the main guy, who I didn't like, and his mistress accidentally kill another driver while swerving to miss a deer. The mistress starts doing all this "don't call the police, we should do this and this instead" stuff and I was like "this is stupid" and turned it off.

Duel(1971)
The exhausted commuter vs some guy being a d*ck.....
Already lived it..............................
I realize this isn't quite in the spirit of this thread, but I had an experience last night that I don't often have (perhaps quite evidently!) and here it is:
I guess Madame finds horror movies I haven't heard of via TikTok influencers, and thus she plays me a hearty recommendation for something called TRUE FICTION. Okay, let's watch it. We find it on Tubi, there's a brief pre-title sequence, and then the first actual scene of exposition begins. There are three actors having a serious conversation. One makes little impression, the second seems competent but perhaps misdirected, and the third is behaving in such a forced, inauthentic way that I become instantly physically uncomfortable. Almost immediately, I realize: I am unable to watch this film.
Fortunately it only takes Mme.10rda another sixty seconds to ask if we can watch something else. Her threshold for crap is quite different from mine but she wasn't buying this tripe either. Naturally this is a website called BadMovies.org and I watch tons of bad movies and lots of them have bad acting, but it's pretty rare that the bad acting forces me to stop watching within the first two minutes of a film. (I suspect the writing was weak, too, but the acting kind of distracted me from even processing the dialogue.)
Most things under this label:

Lovely Bones. One of my bosses at work tried to force me to read the novel despite me telling him I would not be able to read the subject matter.
I can't deal with the majority of the Alien films anymore because of the facehuggers. The idea of them has always been scary but watching an episode of Alien Earth that begins with a facehugger on someone flipped the switch and I can't watch them anymore :buggedout:

It ain't worth the effort imho.
BRICK (2005). I had to turn it off because I couldn't understand a single word of what they were saying. Even with subtitles, I find it hard to follow because they talk so damn fast and with the most ridiculous slang you could possibly hear. I have no clue what they were thinking when they came up with that dialog.
Grave of the Fireflies - just the first scene gave forshadowings of what was to come, and I couldn't watch any more.
The Plague Dogs - another where the opening scenes are disturbing enough for me to nope out. As someone who deeply loves animals, even an animated movie of this was too much.
Pretty much all torture/gore movies. Like, why?

I made it to the end of that. The opening is the worst part, but yeah, I don't recommend it to animal lovers. It was bold and brutally honest, but geez...
