either bit parts, or starring.
(not counting her uncredited parts)
she definitely had a career dedicated to the b movies
for me it's...
THE EXCORCIST (1973)
BORN INNOCENT (1974)
AIRPORT 75 (1974)
SARAH T: PORTRAIT OF A TEENAGE ALCOHOLIC (1975)
EXORCIST 2: THE HERETIC (1977)
SUMMER OF FEAR (1978)
HELL NIGHT (1981)
REPOSSESSED (1990)
so it's eight for me... about to add SILENT ASSASSINS (1988) to that list, picked it up yesterday. looks reeeeally bad :drink:
not sure why I've never seen SAVAGE STREETS (1984), it sounds right up my, erm, street.
CHAINED HEAT (1983) is probably a good laugh as well, just never seen it
For sure
EXORCIST
EXORCIST 2: THE HERETIC
NIGHT PATROL
SAVAGE ISLAND
REPOSSESSED
probably
CHAINED HEAT (can't remember, those women's prison movies all run together in my mind, but I'm pretty sure I've seen one or two with Blair)
RED HEAT (seems likely even seen this but wouldn't swear to it)

BORN INNOCENT is mainly set in a jail for youths, where typical women-behind-bars type shenanigans ensue, so you may have seen that one. I know what you mean about those movies though
The Exorcist and its sequel were both banned here but I've seen all of those as far as I know. BORN INNOCENT was really controversial in its day.

all her movies? surely not. :teddyr:
watching SILENT ASSASSINS right now... creaky and trashy in that standard late 80s bad movie way. liking it :)
Linda Blair just somehow looks like any random hot female character from these types of films here...
I do find her attractive tbh
she's a real 'head turner'. :twirl:
some guy in this film actually just said the word 'pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis'
I'm aware of that word, but feel like I've never heard it said in a movie before.
Um....
Hell Night
Roller Boogie
Witchery
The Exorcist
Exorcist II: The Heretic
The Exorcist: Believer
Let's not forget Savage Streets.
Just in The Exorcist, a movie that has never scared me, mostly bored me, but as I've confessed in here before, once made me start crying as a teenager because I was overwhelmed by how selfless it was for the old priest to go help a young girl even though he was deathly ill. Thirteen year old runaway emotions aside, I still think that's the most unappreciated part of the film. (And Linda Blair was amazing in her role.)

The Exorcist was banned here for two decades 😔
It was banned here in England until the late 90s when it was 'allowed' a cinema release I went to see it, and there were more audience laughs than screams, let's put it that way...I also fell asleep, in the cinema

When I finally did see it, I wondered what all the fuss was about. Sure, it was creepy but nothing I hadn't seen before. The only thing that really scared me was that the movie was fact based.
I didn't realize I've seen that many movies with Linda Blair in it. I always wanted to see The Chilling (1989), but that one always slipped through the cracks for some reason.
