Seeing as there was an issue with the system I devised after getting the initial 25 films, we're going to try a different method.
Each film on this list starts with 10 points. We begin with a field of every movie that was nominated in the original top 25 poll (https://www.badmovies.org/forum/index.php?topic=160386.30), all starting at equal footing. (To start, there are 31 movies, with room for 19 more nominees).
Movies will be removed from the field if they reach 0 votes.
Every day ("day" defined as the 24 hour period starting at midnight, US Eastern Standard time), you have three moves. You can add or subtract 1 point from 3 different movies.
As one of your moves, you may instead suggest one new movie to add to the list of candidates, until we reach a field of 50. After that, new movies can be added only when a spot opens after a movie is removed.
The rules may get fine-tuned as we continue.
