Title: Blood everywhere
Post by: Dr. Whom on February 08, 2026, 06:15:08 AM
So my mom takes medication against blood clotting. Over Christmas this caused an uncontrollable nosebleed which needed medical attention. That has been taken care of, she's fine. But when she was being treated, I went back to the apartment to clean things up.

Turns out, that when you walk around even with just blood streaming from your nose, you leave an impressive trail of blood everywhere. So when now I see movies with people being stabbed etc, I start thinking: there should be more blood.

It will be a bit late now I guess, but I recommend putting salt over blood while it is still wet and pouring a little water on top.

A few years back I had my surgery that left a large open wound on my face that I had to wash out every day.  I distinctly remember saying to myself that I was tired of seeing my blood all over the place.
