Herbert Sobel, BAND OF BROTHERS.
Doris McGarrett, HAWAII FIVE O.
Walter White, BREAKING BAD.
Tony Soprano, THE SOPRANOS.
Captain Lochley on Babylon 5. She was an obvious eleventh-hour replacement for Ivanova who never integrated well into the series. Even her two appearances on Crusade were lackluster.
Kristi hated Joffrey in Game of Thrones she refused to watch it until he'd been killed off.
She then didn't watch it because of the amount of plot she'd missed.
Everyone on "Married with Children"
Everyone on "Friends" (except Lisa Kudrow, for some reason)
Serena Southerlyn, LAW AND ORDER.

I'm with you on these.
Every so often Kristi watched some reality TV show about women buying wedding dresses. Quite often I'd happily choke the life out of the people they are filming, especially the one woman who wanted multiple dresses (my brain thinks she wanted 5), on which was something like $27,000. Her husband would protest about the costs and she'd cry out "Oh but its my day, don't you want me to feel special?" to which he'd reply "Yes, but I'd also like to be able to afford to eat afterwards. We could put a deposit down on a house for what you want to spend on dresses."
My answer would be, you can have all the dresses you want as long as you can afford to pay for them yourself.
Dax, Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. I've never wanted to punch somebody more. And he's one of the good guys.

What?
Never liked her at all,the first Mary Sue character in L&O. In one episode called Shangri La she solves the case before the police by asking for yearbooks.
Good actress but not a good character.

I remember that one, actually. Lot of people seem split on her character. The girl on now, most people seem to hate.

Think it's a combination of the actor just not being any good and the writing. It's a kids show, so I don't expect great acting. But it's the only time I've wanted one of the monsters to just toss him off a cliff.
Adric in Dr Who, although his death did redeem him somewhat.
Just about any of the main characters in The Big Bang Theory especially Sheldon.
Its one of those shows people just assume I'd like.
Nell on Gimmee a Break
Lovey Howell on Gilligans Island

Tweety is an A**hole.
I agree. I feel similarly about Jerry of "Tom &...". Persistent harassment and/or abuse/mutilation of cats is not an endearing character trait.
Lotta' unlikeable WB characters, actually. Foghorn Leghorn is a pompous @$$, Pepe LePew is a sex pest...
*Sally Field's onscreen sister in GIDGET. forgot her name. just boring and drags the show down.
*Romano (Adrian Zmed) in TJ HOOKER... just comes off as a precocious little tit most of the time.
....However Corrigan (James Darren) who came in later series, is a complete plank of cardboard. blandest tv character ever.
*Michael Knight in KNIGHT RIDER. loved this show as a kid, thought I'd still like it as an adult, but The Hoff is just a nonchalant, arrogant arsehole in every episode.
*Face in THE A -TEAM... never got the hype. bland character compared to the other 3... the lukewarm water to B.A.'s fire and Hannibal's ice (and whatever Murdock was... jelly?)....show would've been better without him imo
Murdock was the heart and soul! :teddyr:

watching a few eps. back recently it struck me what a truly off-the-wall character he was, and how good Dwight Schultz was at portraying him. acting skills required
Someone on that show had to do some acting! :bouncegiggle: Hannibal was iconic but very one-note. Mr. T... at best a scary clown, not an actor. "Face" was just that. (Oddly "Face" should have been an actor's role, but... it wasn't.) Even as a kid, I always thought Dwight Schultz carried the A-Team.
Dwight Schultz is great.
This is technically a radio show. However, I think Fibber McGee and Molly is worth including, since one of the show's strengths was its colorful cast of supporting characters. But as I make my way through the later war years (1943-1945), pretty much every classic character has been retired, most without so much as a proper send-off. No more Gildersleeve (who got his own spinoff series) No more Mrs. Uppington. No more Mr. Wimple. No more Mayor LaTrivia (who got drafted on account of actor Gale Gordon being drafted). No more frigging Old Timer! What we have at this point is pretty thin. Alice the flighty fresh out of high school war plant worker is bland. Housemaid Beaulah has Unfortunate implications without possessing the bite of someone like Rochester Van Jones or even Birdie Lee Coggins to make it more palatable. But by far the worst is Doc Gamble. The intent here was to mimic the argumentative relationship between Fibber and Gildersleeve. However, that worked because Gildersleeve was a self-important blowhard. Doc Gamble is just an @$$hole. It doesn't help that he has a very grating voice.
