Title: Gangster Film From the 40's or 50's In Which an Impressionist Is Used
Post by: DrParker on April 11, 2026, 09:59:09 PM
I am looking for the name of a Gangster Film from the 40's or 50's that I believe was set in Chicago. In this movie, towards the end, the police (or FBI) go to a club in which an impressionist is used to give signals to the other gangsters as to how they are to proceed with their (dastardly) deeds.  I remember the ending involves a shootout at an airport in which several women were being kidnapped for the purpose of prostitution.

All help is appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

As I was typing this request, my cousin (who is much more of a connoisseur of movies than I am) emailed me the answer.  The name of the movie is "Chicago Confidential".
