AKA the return of my uncle Uwe to directing.
Apparently this film has been banned in Germany and I think it has gone to streaming elsewhere as it is so controversial.
Available in full for a while on X at x.com/CitizenVMovie.
That seems like the optimal platform for it.
....why is this in the good movies section
The subject finally popped up on the right wing media sites I follow.....
Sure sounds real preachy.....

QuoteFake news. Fabricated, or deliberately misleading information. It is spread to deceive readers, manipulate public opinion, or influence views.
:bouncegiggle:
Maybe people should, I don't know, see it before passing judgement?

My Uncle Uwe made it so... 😉😉🐢
Is he really your Uncle?!

No 😉
In the glory days of the IMDB message boards, people joked that I defended Uwe where others didn't, one person said "He's probably Trevor's uncle" and that stuck 😊😊
Okay. You can adopt an uncle, that's cool.
I didn't think his first few films were that bad. I saw some later ones though that were pretty rough.

I've not seen his German films or his early junk DTV films, but House of the Dead is embarrassing, and Alone in the Dark is actually one of the worst films I've ever seen in my life. And I've seen stuff like Monster a Go Go (which, I'll admit, is worse, but they're in the same ballpark).
HOWEVER.... I think Rampage actually isn't half-bad, unpleasant as it is. The visual style can be very off putting, and it's very unpleasant, but it's decently made if you can stomach it.

The two films he made here - 1968 TUNNEL RATS and DARFUR - are incredible films, especially DARFUR which is emotional and sometimes very violent and disturbing.
I think the only Uwe Boll movie I've ever seen was "Alone in the Dark," which was more than enough.

I paid ZAR30 (about $3) for a DVD of that. I paid $2.99 too much. 😳🥴😉
I've seen Alone in the Dark, Postal, House of the Dead and BloodRayne.
Uwe Boll could s**t a brick, make a movie of it happening, and it would be better than his entire filmography.
LOL! I honestly hate neither AITD nor HOTD - I've seen worse! And I like BLOODRAYNE! :teddyr:  The DUNGEON SIEGE movie he made (whatever it was called, something something "King") was totally lifeless, though, and remaking BLOODRAYNE only w/ a plus-plus-sized actress yet changing nothing else about it (BLUBBERELLA) was a... peculiar choice. Of course I made an even more peculiar choice when I watched it! :bluesad:
Years ago, I read that Uwe Boll's movies were often intended to be tax write offs for the investors/executive producers, which is why they were made to a certain uh 'standard'.
This movie does look pretty cool, though. Very on topic in today's political climate. Maybe this one wasn't meant to be a tax write off!

The movies he made here, DARFUR and 1968 TUNNEL RATS were excellent and well made, DARFUR especially.

I've seen all 3 Bloodrayne movies. Even got the reviews for them in the fan review section.
I'll say this about Blubberella. It
could have worked. Doing an action movie parody with a...let's say a heroine with a non traditional action movie body type isn't the worst idea I've ever heard.
Fair. But I think Boll was aiming lower than your speculation.
Great Actor and good movies Armie Hammer is so

The Armie Hammer reference was a coincidence, jounin posted a spam link.
