Recently I found this 90s series. it's about an American college student that goes to London and gets bitten by a werewolf. Along with her college professor, that she has a thing for, they investigate supernatural stuff and look for a possible cure for her. Meanwhile they actually live together in the home of the Professor's quirky and unusual family (they rented her a room).
It's fairly low budget and very 90s TV, but it has a nice charm to it and a bit of a Hammer Horror feel.
For the first dozen or so episodes anyway.
Season 2 they apparently tried to cut costs, ditched most of the supporting cast, moved them out of London and into California, ditched the whole "will they/won't they" aspect of their relationship, as well as all of the college professor stuff and it's just generally not nearly as good.
Except for one Season II episode where they go to a theater and get sucked inside the movie. It's an old black and white Universal Monsters kinda thing. That one was fun (but they do waste one opportunity and they don't have her turn into a werewolf to fight the movie's more lowbudget Wolfman character.)
