I nominate SNIPER (2003).

It has eleven including one TV movie and two made here.

Yikes. 😳😏😉🐢

DIE HARD... ok it doesn't have loads, and I never liked any of the sequels anyway, but the post 2000 ones are just scraping the barrel and pointless

the HELLRAISER franchise. not that I have strong feelings for the original, but some of the later sequels seem so randomly shoehorned in to that universe

HALLOWEEN. classic example of a franchise they can't leave alone. it's been rinsed so many different ways I don't think anyone knows what to make of it any more. although part 5 and RESSURECTION are guilty pleasures I don't think anything past Part 2 was actually necessary?

DIE HARD 4 and 5 are a real slog to get through and Bruce Willis looks so damn tired in the fourth one. Nuff said about the 5th one directed by Mr John "I don't like working with South African crews" Moore 😳😳😏

The only HELLRAISER sequel I liked was HELLSEEKER, probably because the main villain's name was Trevor 😳😏

HALLOWEEN really did have way too many sequels.

Agreed.

They should have stopped at the seventh one as a tribute to Paul Walker.

THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY had four sequels, all of them, especially the Chinese made last three, unnecessary. 😳

The WITHCRAFT series is 17 movies long, all of them (as far as I can tell) unnecessary, even the first one - and there are 2 or 3 more on the way:

...Does anyone watch these movies? Has anyone here ever seen one of them - let alone seventeen?! I've never watched one and only know them from (in my youth) seeing six or eight nearly identical looking VHS boxes on the shelves in the Horror section, and ignoring them. I've never read a positive review of any installment. The series must be some kind of tax scheme.......

I've seen the first three, maybe four. I could only remember vague bits from two of them.
