I've been meaning to post this for some time but kept putting it off. Many years back I seem to remember watching a movie on WGN or TBS Superstation (I don't remember which) way back in the 80's. All I can remember about it is the scene at the end. It takes place in a jungle like setting where I think 2 people land near the outskirts in a 2 seater plane. They venture into the wooded area for some reason and come to a house or structure of some kind. From that point they are attacked by swamp-like creatures that are green in color if I remember correctly. The people have weapons and manage to kill several of the things also starting many fires in the process. At this point they frantically try to make it back to the plane alive while attempting to escape. When they finally make it back to the plane I think I remember a creature or 2 jumping onto it. They finally get the propellers going and manage to hightail it out of there. For the life of me I cannot remember the title of this film. Judging from the look of it I would guess it was made in the early 80's. Do any of you know what it is??????
This sounds like the 1983 Peter Fonda movie "Jungle Heat",where Pete and his girl battle several of those short critters that try to tackle them around the jungle.
It was also one of the first direct-to-video,and syndicated TV ,releases around that time period.
Now I remember! I went to the IMDB and discovered that I remember it by it's alternate title, "Dance of the Dwarves". Thanks for the help!
