Has anyone here seen the film Pink Flamingos. It's just I know it is descirbed as being the sickest and most immoral film of all time and I want to ask do you think it lives up to that reputation (nothing can be sicker then that Tom Green movie "Freddie got Fingered" in my opinion.)
It's sicker than Freddie Got Fingered. Definitely lives up to its reputation, yes.

Pink Flamingos is pretty warped. SPOILER! In the end a dog craps and a person eats it, all in a single shot with no tricks.

Funny that this should come up; I just watched my DVD of "Female Trouble" last night. It is in a two-disc set with "Pink Flamingos."
The thing about John Waters is that he was trying to offend people and was quite good at it. Having Divine around did not hurt his efforts. Anyway, watching a deranged Waters' film is like taking a day tour at an abortion clinic. You just sort of stare at it in shock.

Yeah, my friend made us all watch DESPERATE LIVING, stating it was the "worst movie he's ever seen".
I found it charmingly offensive. At least until the very end, which involved an unwanted sex change operation and a pair of scissors.
Anyway, the Onion has
their interview with John Waters featured right now. John Waters is one of the most entertaining interview subjects in America, and is always worth a read.
"Pink Flamingos" is one of many 70s shock films that conatins the following:a flashing transsexual girl,on-screen male oral,cannibalism,castration,the bad guys tarred,feathered,and shot at gunpoint(in front of a tabloid press),the infamous "dog poop" ending,and a naked dancing guy whose butt makes certain bowel movements(called "the singing a***ole sequence").
Unfortunately,everything by John Waters since "Serial Mom"(his last,great movie,which semi-revered back to typical Waters shock humors[only R-rated])have heavily sucked,with Takashi Miike now having replaced him as the new king of cinematic mainstream moviehouse shock(both "Auduition" and "Visitor Q" fully set that point,which both make "Flamingos" and "Salo:120 Days Of Sodom"[a ultravile,bisexual rape,poop,and mass slaughter-filled Nazi flick that"ll easily sicken all those that dare to see it]look like "Pippi Longstockings,which I really kid you not).
Oh gross.... BLUUUUGH! Ooh, I just puked up my cheese and ham panini

Another Waters film, Multiple Maniacs, contains a vomit-eating scene. For me, if you want to offend, you'd better go all the way. You should assault everything I hold dear, physically, mentally, emotionally, morally and spiritually. Freddy Got Fingered? Puh-leeze. Show a disfigured transvestite devouring a living fetus and washing it down with vomit, and you've peaked my interest.
OH GOD! (Runs out of room and barfs)! Oh God! I guess my stomach's not as strong as I thought it was!
