Those are pretty lucrative banners (you'd be surprised how many people click on them), but they give me seizures (and I'm not epileptic), so I nix them over at Cold Fusion. Casino ads, adult products, even inkjet refills, I'm fine with... but no extreme animation!

Online ad revenue has been falling off. Since I refuse to have pop-ups or pop-unders, I'm going to have to start paying out of my pocket for the site soon. Ah well.
Still, I had not seen that banner somehow, but removed it once I found the one you were talking about. You were right, very annoying.

the flashing just made me think of those stories of video games trigering seizures...or mary hart's voice...ala kramer...
i know i appreciate your policy on popups and click-throughs...i'm sure many others do as well...but i really wouldn't mind it all that much...not like i'd stop visiting if you had to go with the darkside for a while.
BUT NOT that balloon-thing! that slipped under the radar a while back...i'll bet more than a few people remember that...it was so out of place. one second i'm reading a review and here comes this balloon floating all over the screen!
