Title: Like a 'Bad Horror Movie'
Post by: raj on July 24, 2002, 04:46:03 PM
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Describing the land-walking snakehead fish as "something from a bad horror movie," Interior Secretary Gale Norton said on Tuesday she wants to ban U.S. imports of the Asian predator that has turned up in seven states from Maine to Hawaii.

The freshwater snakehead has a voracious appetite, often consuming all other fish in a lake or pond and even eating its young. It can slither across land, staying out of water for up to three days, to find new sources of food.

What does she mean, "bad"?  It'd be a great horror movie!  Now, if they turned it into a musical. . .
Title: I smell PIRANHA 3!!!

Now what Piranha 3 would smell like, well that  is up to you to decide.  Frankly the idea of a fish so hungry and tough that it can squiggle across land for up to THREE days in search of food to be a nifty beastie.

Now all we need is for some well meaning NSA cronie to genetically modify it!

Piranha 3 I tell you, who cares if it ain't a real piranha.

I've seen these featured on the news before and they are quite freaky because they can eat everything and then move on land like a snake. If they mutiply more then you'll have some serious problems because they already seem to be doing that.

Albert Pyun are thumb wrestling each other for the director's chair on this one.
