Six String Samurai
anyone seen this movie??
i have not..
i have heard good things about it...
as far as being an "interesting" flick...
from what i have heard:
something happens to all of the U.S.A. except for Las Vegas
where they elected Elvis Presley to be the KING of Las Vegas
then something about a Samurai with a six string guitar making his way to Las Vegas to defeat and dethrone the KING himself, and take over....
like i said i have not seen it... so i don't even know how much of this really happens but it DEFINATELY peaked my curiousity...
anyone know if it is a movie that is easy or hard to find?
let me know what you think about it
thanks!
Fun movie. Not quite to the level of classic, but definitely worthwhile.

Nathan, a few more for your list
"Cyborg Cop" and it's 'sequal', "Cyborg Soldiers" :)
Both star the same actor as the same character, but are only vaguely related, other than the both involve cyborgs. The first has John Rhys-Davies *really* slumming for a buck. The second had some of the worst examples of "I know he's the hero cause the script says he is, but he's really a jerk" I've seen
Trust me, they're on the list.
(The list, by the way, is now about 9,500 titles long.)

I thought so...I just saw them over the last week or so. I figured if they weren't on your list, they should be :)
Check it out. It gets a little pretentious at points, but hey, where else can you see a Buddy Holly lookalike battle Russian soldiers with a samurai sword/guitar in the Nevada desert? Excellent soundtrack, too, by Russian-American surf-rock band The Red Elvises.
I bought this movie after I read about it on badmovies.org. I love the movie. FUN FUN FUN.
Later,
John
It makes for an excellent triple feature with Hell Comes to Frogtown and Legend of the Rollerblading 7.
I was a bit disappointed in Six String Samurai. Not that it was bad, or anything, I had just heard so much glowing praise I was expecting a new classic. It's one of those movies I wish I had seen completely cold.
