well i bought about 12 movies at the flea market this weekend
all for $1 a piece
none of them had cases.. so i just took a chance
(some i KNEW what i was getting.. but some i did not...)
i just finished watching one..
it says Carnival of Souls on the tape itself
but as the movie is starting the title appears to be Corridor of Evil
it's old Black and White film
i really liked it actually
the camera work is pretty cool
the tracking was AWFUL so i had to mess with the button the whole time...
but has anyone else seen this movie..
it's pretty cool
not spectactular but for the time it was made i thought they did really well
some other old Black and White horror/suspense movies i picked up where
The Red House
The Terror (staring a VERY young Jack Nicholson as a French Luitenant)
(keep in mind i CAN NOT spell....)
well let me know if you have seen any of these...
and what you thought of them
I first saw CARNIVAL OF SOULS on the same EP Vhs that you picked up with the CORRIDOR OF EVIL title card. I've since bought it on DVD and hope to upgrade to the Criterion one of these days. It's a great film. One of the best horror movies of the 60s.
Here's my review (http://www.scifilm.org/reviews/carnival.html) if anyone is interested.
