I got a bunch of movies this weekend since video update is having a huge video sale about an hour from where I go to college. Only bad part is that the movie boxes are cut to fit rental cases but I can deal with that.
Here's the list:
Killer Tomatoes Strike Back
Killer Klowns From Outer Space
Gassss
Happy Birthday to me
Bloody Birthday
Cutting Class
A WWF Royal Rumble tape from the 80's - WWF was sooooo much better back in the 80's
Death Row Diner
And a couple of Mel Brooks Tapes that my girlfriend doesn't have since she's a big Mel Brooks fan.
I've been looking all over for a copy of "Gas-s-s-s!" Trying to watch every single film that Roger Corman has been a part of is a silly (and enormous) goal, but a goal it is.
Andrew
How much did you pay for them Brian? I'm waiting for video prices to come down(way down, under $5).
I remember when I hated Vince McMahan for bringing wrestling out of the dark ages with his corny characters in the 80's. I Think the regional wrestling territories were more interesting.
I still haven't found or seen KILLER CLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE.
My favorite Mel Brooks films are YOUNG FRANKENSTIEN and HIGH ANXIETY, both of which i have purchased.
Speaking of Mel, did you see the 60 minutes piece where "The Producers" is going to be a broadway musical? Oy! This is a musical that cries out, "I,m insane and loving it!" Btw, Young F. is my fave. Brooks film too.
Gasss was pretty good except I missed the ending since I was extremely tired and fell asleep so I need to pop it in again during the week while I'm between all my school work...I need another easter break
Since I bought 8 and every 3 you get a free tape, It came to a little over 4 bucks a tape after taxes.
