Title: Snot and movies: Is it necassary?
Post by: Kronos on August 17, 2002, 10:50:35 AM
I remember as a kid going to the theatre to see "Sixteen Candles" it was really a funny movie but there was one scene where the character Long Duck Dong is dancing with a girl and blows his nose. It wasn't a pretty site on the big screen..the actor left a little nose troll loose on his face, and they just kept on filming like it was part of the script. Does anyone else have any movie snot memories? :)

There's an impressive amount of snot in Minority Report, and of course when that big turtle sneezees on Atreyu in The Neverending Story.

I havn't watched "Minority Report" I'll have to check it out sometime. The "Neverending Story" scene reminded me of that same type of scene in "Jurassic Park"..But I'm trying to find the real stuff, like the scene in Blair Witch when the girls snot dangles from her nose as she apologises to the camara. Those actors must get really embarassed when they realise they've just shown everyone their nose oil :^-- -

Well, like I always say, a movie without snot is like a breakfast without bacon.
