On the way back to work from lunch, I was listening to the news on the radio. It reported about the death of Terrorist Abu Nidal. The fist line in the report was," It not known if it was an assasination or suicide, but Abu Nidal was found dead in Iraq. " The last line of the report , "Abu Nidal died of multiple gunshot wounds."
What??? Suicide??? Multiple Gunshot Wounds???
I guess if you used an Uzi and held it at arms length you might get 5 or 6 shots off before you dropped it, but I NOT going to test that theory. And I am originally from Louisiana. Some body would be found with 15 gun shot wounds, stabbed 3 times in the back, buried in a shallow grave with the gun and knife wrapped in a towel buried 50 feet away and it would be ruled either a "suicide" or "death by natural causes." I guess you naturally will die with 15 gunshot wounds and 3 knife wounds.
What schmuck wrote that news copy? Chevy Chase? And he died in Iraq? It reminds me of the line, "Most of the people who commit suicide in New Jersy had help".
Kind of reminds me of news reports about IRA members and Ulster Unionists killing each other execution-style, inside The Maze prison, which was supposed to be a high security facility.
Abu Nidal could have mounted the gun in a spring gun-type trap and then intentionally walked into it. But this is real life and not a "Columbo" episode.
The newsreport may have just been badly written or translated, but it almost sounds like a report from the old Communist-era Tass News Agency.
"Multiple" gun shot wounds just means "more than one." He could've had a big'un in his head and a wee ricochet scratch on his pinky toe, and that would've justified the description.
The important thing is, this SOB is dead and it wasn't easy. And right now, if there's any justice, he'll trying to scream through a mouthful of burning excrement. Allah il Allah.
There are countless "suicides" with questionable circumstances. Just look at all the "suicides" in the list of over 35 deaths tied to the Clintons, available at most conspiracy sites. Vernon Jordan is the most famous, but there are many more.

Reminds me of the story told in my old neck of the woods in NY, of the guy who committed suicide, by pointing a shotgun at the back of his head. Now if only Saddam would start feeling a little down in the dumps.

This is so off the subject but what is the stupidity behind some of the news anchors who do stories on mosquitos every summer? What is the point of having some idiot stick his arm in a glass container loaded with 60,000 hungry mosquitos as we watch them land and bite? To make a point that, they bite?? I'm really concerned since all this talk of the deadly west nile virus here in dallas and some nutso has his arm in a box of mosquitos.
That's just as idiotic as when it snows and ices up roads how the anchors stand on the edge of a busy road or even a freeway to report how cars are spinning out of control. Then you have the moron who is standing in the middle of a hurricane Angela, lightning crashing around and the cameraman blowing away while he says "it's really windy out there!"

....Just once i'd like to see a news anchor say " Two people you likely never heard of were married, 1 guy was shot in a drug deal, 6 people were hurt when a doofus ran into a van, its gonna rain tomorrow, taxs are going up, and the mayor smooched butt for election funds.
