I know this is a long shot...
Back when we first got HBO, they used to fill the time betwen movies with short films, like Hardware Wars and Closet Cases of the Nerd Kind. There was one that I saw a couple times, but never caught the name of. It was a take-off on The Blob using a big pile of reel-to-reel tape. I *THINK* the main character wrote something that the tape didn't agree with, so it came off the reels and chased him, going under a door at one point. It finally catches him, eats him and all that's left are his clothes. Then it winds itself back on the reels. The pile of tape was done with stop motion, but the guy was live.
Anyone ever see this?
I saw that! But I'll be damned if I remember its title...
A long time back someone was asking about a killer doll short from hbo from the early 90s and people did see it but weren't sure what it was. I guess this must be another one- I can't recall ever seeing it but some of these shorts sound interesting.
I'm with Squishy. I saw that thing on a tape of shorts, but for the life of me, i can't remember the name.........intresting, though.
