Does this look like a remake of the Full Moon flick, "HorrorVision"?

                            Not really.
But,it surely sounds more like a more lower key,and not-so-heavily violent, update of "Videodrome",with heavily altered internet in place of heavily altered cable TV channels, though the premise(snuff porn)is a bit of the same, with a vengeful ghost out against the site's mad creator(ala "Videodrome"'s plot, with James Wood
pursuing the title channel's mad creators),with a bit of "House on Haunted Hill" and "Thirteen Ghosts" mixed in,as well as the brief presences of genre greats Udo Kier and Jeffrey Combs.
Hope it's a lot better than the scathing net reviews that it's been getting.

I'm aware of at least six or seven lame series on Showtime 2 or Cinemx 4 about deadly websites. And doesn't it seem odd that it's taken this long since the advent of the internet for a film called "(Something).com" to be released. This movie is also based on a Japanese film about a video tape that kills the viewer within seven days, which is also the basis for the upcoming The Ring. That's right, within the next few months there will be two movies with the same plot.

I was reflecting on the same thing yesterday
