Just finished DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT (70's) starring a lady named McAdams who also looks like the crazy mother in Friday the 13th.
The movie itself wasn't bad and it was't good. The whole story takes place in t his house. The camera never leaves the house nor the characters in the house (low budget). The house is a sanitarium and one of the patients kills the doctor and the his nurse leaves immediately. This leaves the house full of the mentally ill including a woman who thinks she is a doctor and she proceeds to take over for the dead doctor. A real nurse shows up for a job that the now dead doctor had hired her earlier for and is allowed to stay under the patient who thinks she is a doctor. The new nurse dosn't ever suspect the doctor as being a patient till the end. Oh, also there is a bit of a surprise in the basement hence the title of this movie DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT.
Don't rush out to see it, but if you have nothing else to look at then check it out.
Ah;another nice and cheap low budget splatter classic that brings back many nostalgic memories, and is quite a keeper.
