Title: educational motivational videos
Post by: Brian Ringler on August 28, 2002, 11:08:18 PM
Does anyone else like to collect these hilarious little gems?  There was a free rental section at our blockbuster that had some of these and boy are some of them funny.  Take for example, What's Happening to Me?, a cheesy cartoon puberty video.  Then there's the absolute classic Mr. T's be somebody or be somebody's fool.

I also remember this video from sex ed in middle school.  It had Scott Baio in it.  Anyone else heard of this and know the name.

Its hilarious what celebrities will do for charity to help out the commoners.

I'm a big fan of old classroom films from the 40s-70s.  Luckily, several collections of them are now available on DVD!

I saw one in school about sex and whats going on with your body and the kid asks a ZooKeeper about sex. The zookeeper of all people. Why not ack a teacher or someone youcan trust?! it was funny. We also got to see the Cane Toad movie in science last year. Then andrew reviewed it. What a classic movie.

If you pick up any recent issue of Filmfax  magazine or its sister title Outre, you'll find a huge 2 page spread ad advertinsing compilations of old "classroom scare films".  Cheesy sex and health ed and anti-drug films, along with those gory car accident films they used to show in Driver's ed courses.
