I can't remember much about this film but it came out in the early 80's. And the only scene I rememeber has a robot(Same style as Forbiden Planet) hloding a gun to a womans head telling her not to move or "I'll clear your sinuses out...real good."
Ring a bell with anyone?
And yes it was a really bad movie
This is setting off alarm bells in my head like crazy, but I cannot remember the movie either. Maybe something like "Moontrap" or "Saturn 3?"
I'll sleep on it and see what comes to mind.
Wasn't Saturn 3 with Farrah Fawcett?
This film was never trying to be serious
Had like an Alien from LA feel
This is a long shot, but it might be THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME (1979).
Here's a pic with a robot from that movie:

Close but not it
The robot in question was almost all black and when he spoke he almost had a southern redneck accent
I think you are talking about "Star Crash" Staring David Hasselhof and Christopher Plummer. Was the robot named Elle?
Imperial battleship! Halt the flow of time!"
I don't recall either of them in it.
I remember a lot of women in it
But when I looked it up the robot on the cover did resemble the one I'm thinking of. Just don't remember Hasselhoff or Plummer in it.
I just got done looking at Andrews review of Star Crash and while the robot looks familiar none of the scenes he had posed do
The movie is Star Crash with Marjoe Gortner ans Caroline Munro
Well when I looked this up I saw it was released under another title, The Adventures of Stella Star. That's what the film was named. I knew once I saw the name I would remember it.
Talknk you all
