Title: Stuart Gordon interview
Post by: Mofo Rising on October 03, 2002, 02:14:34 AM
Well I certainly hope that you are all regular Onion readers.  But just in case you aren't, you might be interested that their AV Club (those noted hissy fit reviewers) have done an interview with some guy named Stuart Gordon.

Here (http://www.theonionavclub.com/avclub3836/avfeature_3836.html) is the interview.

Hell yes!!
See "Re-Animator" right now!!
Not enough Lovecraft adaptations in the world, I fear . . .
Gordon has made a mission of correcting this grevous error . . .

Thanks for the link to that great interview,Mofo!!
It seems that both the art house theaters and film festival curcuit are the last ventures for a smaller genre film to get a proper theatrical run these days, and Stuart Gordon was very lucky to have at least landed a few festivals to premiere "Dagon" at.
Thank God that Stuart is still making these dark, extremely gory movies in these heavily commercial pop times(mucho thanks for "Dagon",Stuart!!),which is in definitive dire need for him(and his much welcomed films) to make some extremly loud noise right about now.

Thanks for the link, man. Not many Gordon interviews lately, and the one they have at www.fantasticfactory.com is real old. Shame on them!
