Anybody else excited about Twohy's next movie "Below", bopping over to Fangoria I saw a blurb that said the webpage was up...

...there it is. A Quicktime trailer, a peek at an unimpressive poster, and links to a few reviews. Some spooky music and sound too.
Although I have not seen or heard much, I am with the small group (well some other poster at Jabootu) that lay good odds that Below will be better than the other maratime thriller Ghost Ship, dropping into theaters a mere 14 days later (October 25th).
As Gerry at scifilm.org has noted, I am drawn to thrillers set on or near bodies of water (water images even run through my writing, gotta be something Freudian there) but I am so there for both of them!
:-)
Oww..ow....Chadzilla's a plant!!!!!!
I only drifted off for a minute, now I'm sprouting vines and stuff...and I have this sudden urge to ingest compost...where's that copy of Armaggedon, mmmmmm.
Where are my hedge clippers when I need them...
Seriously, I'm looking mucho forward to BELOW too. I LOVED Twohy's previous directorial efforts--especially PITCH BLACK.
Right now I'm only seeing limited release dates listed though--Oct 11 for NY and LA, and Oct 18 for the top 20 markets. I hope it does *really* well so we can get a wider release, otherwise I'll have to wait for the home video. Grrrr.
GHOST SHIP looks like it will stink to high heaven, but I'm probably going to see it anyway.
Do you see Adrienne Barbeau skinny dipping anywhere near you?
Well, she wanders into my next of the swamp, I got a trunk she can sit on. :)
>Do you see Adrienne Barbeau skinny dipping anywhere near you?
Forget Adrienne, keep a lookout for Heather Locklear!
Somewhere, out there it's supposed to be playing.
Calling all posters, is it in your neck of the woods? The always unreliable Dimension is *ahem* distributing it, so who knows. Supposedly the movie with opening wider next week.
Let's hope word of mouth and keeps this thriller alive, as it is supposed to be quite a good one.
