Just finished BOOGEYMEN: The Killer Compilation. Neat collection of terrifying moments in recent horror film history. Hear is my new list of favorites and comments based on the clips and trailers from this compilation tape.
Micheal Myers (The true Boogeyman)
Leatherface (and his sick, sick family)
The Tall Man (The Long Strides and spheres)
Norman Bates (Mama's Dress)
Hellraiser (Otherworldly)
Puppetmaster Puppets (I might rent one of these, weird. Which is the best?)
Leprecaun (Green guy looking for his gold, fun)
Wishmaster (Interesting, different, maybe i'll rent it)
Scream (Some intense moments)
Jason (Just a copy of Micheal Myers to me)
Freddy Kruger (character never interested me)
Fisherman (I know what you did last summer) Nothing special
Candyman (The worst)
Hey Scott,
Pretty good break down as far as I'm concerned. I agree about Fredday and Candyman - I can go without them. I think Jason should be ranked higher up and the Leprechaun pushed down - his killing methods were always amusing but seldom "scary".
As for the PuppetMaster series - I suggest you start with number one. You'll want to see them all after seeing number one. Number 2 was actually my favourite - the nicest set of exposed breasts in the world in my opinion.
Andre I think I'll take your advice on the original Puppetmaster and I'm planning to give Jason a chance by watching Jason Lives and Jason Goe's to Hell. Thanks.
