I'm just reading the review of a new movie from Japan titled WILD ZERO. I haven't seen it, but the paper says its about a rock and roll band trying to make it to a gig. The review says the earth is hit by a meteor, UFO's and canibal zombies are running rampant, while the roads are roaring with bikers. What a great combinations bikers, ufo's, zombies, rock and roll, romance all in the same flick. The reviewer gave it high marks, they label it as a fun, cheesy freak-out that pays tribute to drive in shlock. Civilization gone kablooey. Well its playing in Philidelphia so I probably have to wait till video.
It's worth mentioning that Teleport City has a review of Wild Zero up:

Probably more details than a newspaper review, cause they don't have to worry about column inches and stuff.
I have seen it and own a subtitled copy of it. It is very strange and doesn't make alot of sense. It wasn't just released its been out for awhile now. Its not available in the us but can be obtained through copies or import dvds. Blackest hearts media has that and Junk in. Both I would recommend as the new awesome Japanese zombie films that are out. The band in the movie is called Guitar Wolf they are a punk/rock Japanese band that actually sound pretty good.
