I was wondering if you could tell me if you know the title to this movie I saw some twenty years ago. The show contained three short shows. One was about a teenager who gets shot by an elderly woman after he's egged on by some guys to go to her house. At his funeral, it turns out the deceased boy's mom is a witch and she places a curse on the three boys. They all die.
The other is about a farmer who discovers a pit with smoke coming up from it. He goes down into it and comes up deranged. I guess he's supposed to have seen hell.
The third is the old tale about a girl who hitchhikes home and gets picked up by a middle-aged man. When he goes to the house she asked to be dropped off at, the girl's parents tell her she's been dead for some time.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you know the title - it might be one made for TV. I was hoping to watch it before Halloween.

Thosu sounds like the 1975 anthology movie "Encounter With The Unkonwon",which was narrated by Rod Sterling,since I do remember these stories really well,as well as the female lead from that same year's "Twisted Mind"(a.k.a. :"Horror High",about a nerdy high school guy who becomes a Jeckyll/Hyde type monster who bloodily bashes his mean teachers to bits:a b***hy old lady gets her fingers,and then her head,hacked off with a giant paper slicer blade,and a gym teacher gets stomped to death,with his goried corpse hung for all to see)as that ghostly girl.
I keep meaning to get to that one over at Jabootu. It's a hilariously bad movie.
