ok so there is this movie i saw when i was a kid...about these people in space...one by one they all die from their fears..and the the last guy has to basically face all of them and they are all gross and the it turns out it was all arranged by some sort of overlord??????and because the guy survives he becomes the new overlord...????can anybody help me find this
Geesh, it's been a while since I've seen it, but it sounds like Galaxy of Terror (aka Planet of Horrors). It starred Erin "Joanie from Happy Days" Moran. Pretty gory for its time.

saw it in a theater where it was billed as GoT, but called PoH on the print and it had a groovy looking Mindwarp poster with Galaxy of Terror spelled out with post-it letter!
It was showing on a double bill with the wretched comedy Chu-chu and the Philly Flash (starring Carol Burnett and Alan Arkush).
I hope some of that info helps.
