There was a series (2-3) of movies produced by Dick Clark (I think) about a rock band in makeup similar to Kiss that solved murder mysteries while on tour. I believe the band was called Moon but I cannot recall titles. Does anyone have a clue?
Nope:don't remember any of them,but I do vividly remember Clark's imfamous 1979 genre entry "The Dark",which had a zombie looking,blue jeans clad alien running loose in L.A.,killing people by zapping lasers out from his eyes.
Clark was somehow lucky in affording to hire William Devane,Cathy Lee Crosby,Keenan Wynn,and the ever affable Casey Kasem(you read that right,partner!!)to star in this ridiculous movie,and was even more lucky in obtaining Film Venture's service in releasing this celluloid idiocy to suburban mall multiplex theaters(and obtaining an R rating for it,as well).
A real comedic head scratcher,but yet this is all true(I heavily swear on it!!).
